Baavet Pure Irish Wool Duvets

Baavets are available in all regular sizes and come in for different weights.

Heavy:

500/550 gram per sq metre which is equivalent to a 13+ tog.
Suitable for : colder winter months, cold houses with limited heating, people who prefer a weightier duvet, people who particularly feel the cold.

Because wool regulates body temperature and is not an insulator the normal TOG rating of Polyester, Feather and Down does not apply and we only use it as a guide. Most people will only need one weight Baavet all year round.

Medium :

400/450 gram per sq metre which is equivalent to an 8 to 12 tog. This is our most versatile weight.

Suitable for most months of the year in the average house.

Light :

300/350 gram per sq metre which is equivalent to a 4 to 6 tog.
Suitable for : warmer months, use in very warm houses, people who suffer night sweats, people who prefer a very light duvet.

Super Light :

200/250 gram per sq metre which is equivalent to a 2 to 4 tog.
Suitable for a very warm month, very warm houses and people who like a very light duvet.
